QVC – Home Shopping Giants

QVC stands for Quality, Value, Convenience and was founded in 1986 in Pennsylvania US. It currently broadcasts to over 200 million homes in 5 countries.

In 1995 took control over the QVC organisation by purchasing a majority shareholding, starting qvc.com in 1996. Orginally the company specialised in TV shoping (and still does), but also now also on the internet.

In 2003 Liberty Media became the majority shareholder after Comcast sold its holding to them.

In 2007 QVC US rebranded itself changing its logo and advertising campaign.
